The self-governing Region of Murcia (where Camposol Residential Complex is set) is located in the south-east of Spain. Placed right in the Mediterranean Arch, it is bounded by Alicante to the east, by Granada and Almeria to the west, Albacete to the north and the Mediterranean sea to the south.
Climate: The weather in the Region of Murcia gathers all the common features of a semiarid Mediterranean climate. The most humid periods are registered in spring and autumn. Temperatures correspond to the Mediterranean model, with hot summers, when temperatures can exceed 40º C with the winters being mild and short. The annual average temperature varies between 16º and 19º, depending on the season. There are clear skies during most part of the year (between 120 and 150 days), and the average sunlight is over 2.800 hours a year.
Relief: The Region of Murcia is integrated in the Andalusian Mountains, and it covers rugged territory, where mountain ranges from the south-east to the north-east are combined with valleys, big depressions and plains. The Murcian littoral, with 170 km, is cliffy and rocky, with some small beaches and sandy coves, where a great variety of ecosystems including: salt marshes, humedals, dunes and beaches.
